Product Description

Pale and bright lemon colour with aromas of white peach, nashi pear, nougat and citrus. The palate is nicely weighted and shows the delicate sweet spice of oak with a hint of creme fraiche to accompany the orchard, stone fruit and citrus characters. The complex finish is accompanied by a gentle and refreshing acidity and a flint-like minerality. The grapes used for the Winton Road Chardonnay are carefully harvested from selected vineyards of the Eden Valley and vinified using traditional methods. The wine is matured in a combination of new and aged French barriques with time on lees to develop complexity and structure.
