Busby arrived in Australia with vine cuttings that would go on to express the fullest character of the Australian terroir and herald the beginning of a world-class wine culture. Here you will discover a very special wine, first encountering a deep plum colour with a complex bouquet of dark cherry, blackberries and clove. The palate is structured and balanced with dark fruits and savoury spice, while the tannins are very subtle, and the finish is a medley of amaro herbs, black pepper and blood plum. Pair with roasted or grilled meats such as beef or venison, as well as hard cheeses.
